Birds are the symbol of freedom, and they always remind us of something good.
However, they often seem unreachable and mysterious to people, especially because they’re easily scared when we approach them. Well, if only there was a way we could explore these beautiful feathered creatures without causing them harm or scaring them away…
Luckily, Lisa (who goes by the name Ostdrossel) has got our back!
She wanted to get close to the birds in her yard when she moved to Michigan from Germany, and she began exploring how she could make it possible. As a result, she managed to capture some of the most beautiful photos of gorgeous different bird species, and their majestic poses.
She does it by putting up different kinds of food to lure birds in, and she has set up a camera by which she can explore them from up close. The whole setup is called Bird Photo Booth 2.0, and it consists of a camera box with motion sensors, macro lens, and an attachable feeder. So, when a bird comes to eat, the camera photographs the bird without it even noticing it. Her camera has taken up to 7000 photos in a single day, and they are truly magnificent.
